Well, this picture says it all- ha! We seem to have nicknamed poor Benjamin Chunk, for obvious reasons.... But in all seriousness, this is not his most flattering picture- he's really cute :) And it is SO fun to have a chubby, healthy baby who eats and breathes! He is in the 95% and I am just enjoying it :) But we can't help cracking up because he is gaining on Gracie! And today, I braved the train park with two kids by myself (with our playgroup) and the train got STUCK trying to go up this little hill! When I called Ramsey to tell him of our adventure, he said, "It was CHUNK!" Oh dear.... ;) I think he kind of looks like Tony Soprano in this shot.... Benjamin is so sweet and he is starting to smile a lot which is much better than his previous state of fussiness. He's a little gassy from being, well, chunky! Hope you get a kick out of our adventures today! 6am- "Mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gracie heard a knocking sound in her room thanks to a woodpecker who pecks at the top of our chimney. I went to get her and was so excited for her to find an Eater basket waiting at her door. I started to explain that it was from the Easter bunny, but she stopped me mid-sentence and informed me that it was the woodpecker who had left the basket :) She "tells" me this by signing 'bird' and then knocking on her door (like the woodpecker did) and pointing to her basket. We are still working on the word 'bird' ;) So it was a very exciting morning! Then we all got dressed and headed out to the zoo!! yay! This was Ben's first trip- doesn't he look thrilled? Ha! Well, I was because I had to wait until Gracie was 15 months old for her first trip! We saw lots of animals and stopped to play at the little farm within the zoo. Then everyone came home for a nap and when we woke up, that amazing woodpecker had hidden Easter eggs all over our backyard! Fun!! http://youtu.be/19CDcEJ5sI0 http://youtu.be/hNXIaQkrw4Q |
